Original Owners: Municipal Tax Reimbursement
Are you an Original Owner? An "Original Owner" is a person who bought their unit straight from the Developer. If you purchased your unit directly from the Developer and paid some/all your interim fees (the fees charged by the Developer between Occupancy and Turnover of your unit), then you likely qualify for a Municipal Tax Reimbursement!
On October 23, 2017, the Corporation sent out a "Notice of Settlement of Municipal Taxes Legal Claim" to all Original Owners. If you did not receive a copy, you can download it by clicking here.
Whether you still own in the building or have since moved elsewhere, we urge you to fill in a quick (10-15 minutes) form to see if you may be entitled to a reimbursement. The form will be available on the "Forms" section of the website until the expiry date of April 30, 2018, so please fill it in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
