Introducing "City Sites Property Management"
the Board listened to your feedback (which we always value tremendously) while monitoring our own and our staff's experiences with Del Property Management, and have made the important decision to terminate the Corporation's contract with Del, effective August 31, 2018.
We have spent many months keeping an eye out for property management companies that would better suit our needs, as this is undoubtedly an important decision to make. One company stood out greatly among the rest, as it came highly recommended by many of our most trusted contractors. This company is named "City Sites Property Management Inc", and they have many aspects that certainly caught our eye (and kept it!). They will begin as of September 1st, 2018.
An especially interesting feature of City Sites is that they have a podcast "#WeSpeakCondo" which hosts many experts in various fields for discussion on important items such as cannabis in condos, insurance, effective communication between Residents and Boards and/or Management, and many, many more invaluably informative topics.
Beyond this tool, we were also highly impressed by the two men who regularly run #WeSpeakCondo: Nicholas Chirametli (Vice-President of City Sites) and Ari Soroka (District Manager of City Sites).
Nicholas is young, yet not only highly qualified due to his history in the Condo industry (read about his "explosive" experience here, for which he won the prestigious ACMO Genesis Award), but also due to his immense and obvious passion for leading the industry into an era that is where it always should have been. He makes it clear that his priorities are that quality is never trumped by quantity, Directors are assisted towards achieving their vision alongside rather than in opposition to Management, and Residents can truly relax and enjoy the comfort of their home and community knowing that its care is in not only competent, but also caring hands.
Ari is City Site's Director of Operations, and has been with us every step of the way. Ari has years upon years of experience that has shaped him into the wise and yet, still incredibly humble and humerous manager that he is today. While Nicholas will be overseeing our building directly, we are sure that Ari will be in the background ready to lend a helping hand or motivate us with a great joke or analogy.
Nicholas and Ari interviewed many candidates for our site, and presented a two options for our Board. We were impressed with the experience that Chris had to offer, as he has managed many similar towers such as ours, and has also overseen Three-Way Shared Committees like the ones that our Delegate Directors, Andreea Birloncea and Ryan Moxam, are part of. We are confident that he will help get the building to where we'd like it to be, and look forward to working together with the entire staff of City Sites!
One last equally important aspect of this transition is that, among all these new faces, you will also be seeing a familiar one. We are pleased to announce that our Assistant Property Manager, Caroline Coitino, will be returning to her duties as a City Sites Employee. She is invaluable to the building as she first began as a floor restoration coordinator here back in 2014, then became an administrator shorty after, and most recently earned a promotion to "Assistant Property Manager" after consistently going above and beyond to ensure that the building and its staff were cared for as best as she could. We are so proud to have her back on our team, and are absolutely ecstatic to get back into the swing of things with Caroline by our side!
Should you have any questions or concerns about your new Property Management team, please don't hesitate to contact us at Directors@EmeraldCityOne.com.
We welcome all the staff of City Sites into our building, and hope you will stop by to say "hi!" once they begin to settle in at Emerald City One on September 1, 2018.
All the best,
President of the Board
On behalf of the Board of Directors of TSCC 2368
