Property Management Service Modifications During COVID-19

Dear Neighbours,


The Corporation has an obligation to keep its staff safe, and must take precautions to limit their exposure during this time. Limiting access to staff also helps Residents avoid high-traffic areas and unnecessary social interaction, which helps us all prevent the further spread of COVID-19.


During this time, health professionals have stated that those who can work from home should work from home; unfortunately, our staff does not have that luxury as they must maintain the building for the safety and security of all our Residents. As such, it is up to us to protect them and each other.


We have taken the following measures to limit the risk of anyone contracting/spreading COVID-19 in regards to our Property Management Staff & Services:


The Security staff will remain on-site during regular office hours, as necessary to deal with the day-to-day building matters. Please note the following changes in services available until the COVID-19 concern is over, which are implemented with the prioritization of limiting contact, maintaining social distancing, and ensuring that we protect our Management staff:


As of Monday, March 16, 2020, the Property Management Office will be closed to walk-ins, until the COVID-19 concern is over.


If you need to contact Property management, we require that you use either phone or email for non-urgent items in order to limit contact and prevent the risk of spreading COVID-19. If an item is urgent, please visit the Concierge Desk, which is open 24/7. Should you require an in-person meeting, please call/email Property Management for an appointment.

Please bear in mind that Property Management does not have the luxury of limiting their exposure by working from home, so we must all be respectful of their health and help limit their social interactions in order to protect their health and that of their family’s.


Furthermore, effective immediately, the Superintendents will only respond to urgent and/or emergency in-suite matters in order to limit contact and prevent the risk of spreading COVID-19. If an item is urgent, please visit the Concierge Desk, which is open 24/7.

You are encouraged to continue using the online form to report your in-suite issue to Property Management (https://www.emeraldcityone.com/insuitemaintenance), who will respond via email as soon as possible with an estimated completion date for the work you require.
