Share Your Story #11: "Being a Student During COVID"

As an university student, this period of being at home all the time is really a difficult time.

I can't hang out with my favorite friends; I can't talk face-to-face with my professor in my favorite class.

I couldn't go shopping every once in a while to see if there was a new makeup product.

I can't go to my friends' birthdays, and I can't even entertain my friends properly.

I couldn't even entertain my best male friend from France as his tour guide to the sights and attractions of Greater Toronto.

I could only stay at home, eat regular meals, take online classes, sleep.... Life felt so obscure and uninteresting.

However, I discovered one thing.

My pimples are gone!

Because my lifestyle has become so regular that I don't eat out every day, I go to bed early, I get up early, I don't worry about being late for class, and I don't have to worry about being late for school. Do you have enough money in your pocket to go out with your friends...?

I don't have to think about complicated things and my life has become very simple. I spend more time with my family, and I am more aware of how good they are to me.

I know that the world has changed dramatically as a result of this epidemic.

People kept a proper distance from each other, conflicts stopped a lot, crime rates dropped a lot, wars started to stop, air pollution gained a lot of popularity. Resolution and improvement....

I know the epidemic has brought about an economic depression, but think about it: didn't God create the word "economy" when He created man? Something? God says: Look at the birds of the air; hey do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and Are they not you not much more valuable than they? ( Matthew 6:26)

I think we've just returned to the world before the economy, and it's time to look at what God wants us to think about through this epidemic. ? What did you do wrong in the past? What should we do in the future?

Let's all think together about what we can learn from this epidemic, which is like World War III.
