we never give up... and after many requests from Residents, we organized another series of yoga classes!
As always, we'll be hosting a free trial class during a special "BE Yoga Event", organized by the Emerald City Social Committee.
We have named these series of yoga classes "BE".
It's about becoming yourself, finding your balance - both of the body and mind, and being a part of the Emerald Community. We invite you to come join us, to simply "BE".
The "BE Yoga Event" will be hosted on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in the evening. The instructor will be on-site for a meet and greet (from 7:00pm to 8:00pm), followed by a free 90-minute yoga class demonstration (from 8:00pm to 9:30pm). As always, we'll be giving away lots of loot bags and prizes to those who participate! Further details about this event will follow in the next few days.
Full sessions of "BE Yoga" classes are scheduled to begin on April 1, 2019, and end on June 30, 2019. Final information (including pricing, terms, and conditions), will follow. See below for the current class plans, dates, and times.
All the best,
President of the Board of Directors,
and Chair of the Emerald City Social Committee.
THE "BE YOGA" CLASSES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
"Begin to Breathe"
Mondays, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Start your week with 60- minutes of energizing your body using a unique combination of breaths and movement. Whether you are looking to develop union of the body, breath and mind, improve your metabolism and circulation or strengthen your cardiovascular system, you will leave feeling stronger, lighter and recharged.
"Off The Mat, into your Life!"
Tuesdays, 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Welcome to 90-minutes of specific breathing techniques, sequencing, postures held for certain period of time and chanting meditation mantras. Surely an entire experience that is both incredibly challenging and insanely rewarding. You will go home with skills to cope successfully with day to day challenges like holding jobs, raising families and managing businesses.
"Stretch and De-Stress"
Thursdays, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Modern life is fast enough - your yoga doesn't have to be. This 60-minute slow and steady paced class will allow you to connect deeply with your breath and stay in postures long enough to become acutely aware of their sensations - and even break a sweat.
